After joining Infosys I had been deputed to Data Analytics and warehousing stuff and my interest over data started to grow with time. But now it's time for me to upgrade my perspective of the data from a analysis or reporting to data predictive analysis which indeed is the next step in evolution. R is an open source programming language and software environment for statistical computing and graphics that is supported by the R Foundation for Statistical Computing. The R language is widely used among statisticians and data miners for developing statistical software and data analysis.

Learning Ruby on Rails

Theoretical my first love was web development and hence I can’t resist myself from web programming technologies. Finally, after long wait, I want to start exploring what Ruby on Rails is capable for and what all I can achieve using it . Basically its a web-application framework that includes everything needed to create database-backed web applications according to the Model-View-Controller (MVC) pattern.

Worked on Groovy

My journey started with C and progressive to C++ & Java. Finally, further enhanced version or more like extension to java thats Groovy. It is a dynamic language with features similar to those of Python, Ruby, Perl, and Smalltalk. It can be used as a scripting language for the Java Platform, is dynamically compiled to Java virtual machine (JVM) bytecode, and interoperates with other Java code and libraries. Groovy uses a Java-like curly-bracket syntax.

Explored Oracle BI - 12c

Only one thing is constant, i.e. change and now time as come when OBIEE 11g has turned older. With new OBIEE 12c coming in handy with many new features and added functionality, I started to explore it on various fronts.
